The new sensor, featuring a 360° coverage pattern suitable for mounting heights from 8-12 feet, offers Bluetooth connectivity for expanded control and management capabilities. For instance, the Bluetooth-enabled sensor can pair with an Android or iOS application to perform initial setup and subsequent sensor adjustments, including time delays or sensitivity settings. The Bluetooth connectivity also provides a wide range of customization via compatible apps in terms of security and real-time data. The sensor is qualified by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, a rigorous course managed by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, ensures global product interoperability, key to successful IoT solutions deployed in the built environment.
The PacWave Smart Sensor Control Platform encompasses a range of occupancy and motion sensors, in-wall occupancy and dimming controllers, dimming power packs, fixture controllers, and mobile apps (Android and iOS) for remote configuration of sensor and dimming settings. It combines sensor-based detection with Bluetooth-ready control capabilities for a cost-effective and future-proof approach to indoor/outdoor lighting and beyond.
