SACRAMENTO, Calif. March 10, 2022— McWong International, a leading lighting and controls solutions provider, is pleased to announce a new In-Node Scheduling feature in its award-winning TruBlu Bluetooth mesh lighting control platform.
The new feature, developed in cooperation with McWong’s technology partner Silvair, allows users to set up events that trigger predefined scenes at desired times, allowing schedules to be stored and activated within individual network nodes. Consequently, the user can operate schedules without needing additional hardware, such as a gateway or even an Internet connection.
“We’re sensitive to our customers’ needs, whether these are to keep project costs down or to maximize flexibility,” notes Stephen Zhou, Executive Vice President of McWong. “With In Node Scheduling, TruBlu users can access the power of scheduling for specific spaces or entire areas, without the need for a gateway or complex hardware and wiring infrastructure. This offers customers even more flexibility with network deployment and accommodates cost concerns without sacrificing performance. Now, even the smallest TruBlu network can access scheduled control along with other control strategies that work best for the facility.”
